T20 World Cup is around the corner and you don’t want to...' Gautam Gambhir's take on Rahul Dravid continuous head coach

NEW DELHI: As the BCCI on Wednesday broadened the agreement of lead trainer Rahul Dravid and his care staff, previous India cricketer Gautam Gambhir praised the batting perfect and trusted the group proceeded to overwhelm and play great cricket.

Dravid's agreement was stretched out as the board needed to keep up with coherence, following the senior side's breathtaking execution in the ODI World Cup where it dominated 10 matches straight prior to losing the last.

Nonetheless, the board didn't make reference to on how long Dravid's new residency would be in its public statement.

"It's great in light of the fact that the T20 World Cup is around the bend. It's what 7 months away. You would rather not change the whole care staff and it is great that Rahul has acknowledged it.

Ideally, we can proceed to rule and play great cricket, how India has helped a seriously significant stretch of time," Gambhir told ANI.

Prior, secretary Jay Shah said that Dravid will have 'full support' of the board, pushing ahead in his undertaking to win the ICC Prize, which is absent from the bureau for the last ten years.

"Having dominated 10 back to back matches before the last, our Reality Cup crusade was downright exceptional, and the lead trainer (Dravid) merits appreciation for setting up the right stage for the group to prosper.

The lead trainer has our full sponsorship, and we will furnish him with all the help required for supported accomplishment at the global level," the BCCI secretary said in an explanation.
